Morfik 2.0 final release hits market !

The much-anticipated Morfik AppsBuilder 2.0 is now officially available on Morfik’s new website.
Building on Morfik’s powerful RAD environment, version 2 is a significant upgrade, featuring a new generation of user interface controls for building Rich Internet Applications. Morfik 2.0’s new design and development environment, powered by a background compiler, featuring enhanced user interface controls, and with a new Ribbon Interface, provides a quantum improvement in productivity and functionality. The impressive new features are showcased in Morfik’s completely revamped website, which itself has been designed and built entirely with Morfik 2.0.
Morfik 2.0 comes with a new generation of user interface controls, providing more complete and flexible access to underlying code. Users can now import or create their own custom controls, or utilize the Morfik-provided user controls
Morfik’s new Background Compilation capability now allows developers to compile on the fly while continuing to work on their current project, removing the cumbersome need to stop and restart work in order to recompile any new code. The new compiler capabilities also enhance the speed and quality of Morfik's code auto-completion and source code editing tool.
On the web publishing side, Morfik 2.0 features an impressively modernized and expanded design environment. New functionality includes an all-new Ribbon Menu and Toolbar, and a comprehensive offering of image effects. Effects include gradient, reflection, shadow, corner, anti-aliasing and glow effects. The expanded design features will save time, effort and frustration, bringing the Morfik user to an entirely new level with regard to web publishing options.
Morfik 2.0 also includes an all-new ground-breaking XApp hosting platform, which completely removes the pain of setting up, deploying and maintaining applications online. The hosting automation processes include an integrated deployment server and client, a configuration and upload wizard, and auto-deployment, providing an easy path for placing applications onto a server for testing, demonstration and production.
Morfik’s newest features are all showcased on the Morfik website, which has been built in its entirety with Morfik 2.0. The website contains new information and offerings in 3 key areas: Support, Software Store and Deployment and Hosting options.
The Support area introduces Morfik Developer Assist, a new programme to provide users with fast access to customer service and comprehensive technical support. Developer Assist contains support forums, training videos, Morfik Wiki, issue tracking, bug alerts, hot-fixes, service packs and software upgrades, and is available as a Standard or Premium services. The support section also provides users and potential users with a wide array of videos to assist in exploring Morfik’s features or getting started with building an XApp.
Morfik’s Hosting section contains information on deploying XApps created in Morfik and outlines various hosting plans for users interested in utilizing Morfik’s services for hosting and maintaining web applications.
