The Morfik Developer's Handbook v0.9.3

A number of Pioneers’ have had difficulty in getting Microsoft Script Debugger working with the WebOS AppsBuilder. To help out, Mauricio has penned Appendix F “Configuring Microsoft Script Debugger” in the Developer's Handbook which provides a general description of the steps necessary to get the Microsoft Script Debugger to work so that Browser side debugging is available within the Morfik WebOS IDE.

The Morfik Developer's Handbook v0.9.4

Mauricio has added a new appendix in the Developer's Handbook titled “Creating a Morfik Custom Control”. This appendix will bring smiles to those of you who have been asking how ‘do you create a custom control in Morfik, that is creating it using a high-level language?’. Well read Appendix G and also have a look in Morfik Labs for some more custom control examples.

And if you want to know what is coming next – it will be Appendix H – check the content of the Handbook to see what it is all about :-)

Release of WebOS AppsBuilder V0.9.16.1

Yesterday, 30 January, we gave access to the latest release of the AppsBuilder to some 60 early testers. Some highlights of this build are:

- Enhanced support for in-line JavaScript and linking-in external handwritten JavaScript code libraries.
- Support for Safari (there are still some issues that need to be addressed)
- Spell checker for the in-line help of framework modules.
- Further enhancements in the area of Computer Aided Coding

And heaps of bug fixes :-)

First release for 2007 - WebOS AppsBuilder V0.9.15.5

Our first release for 2007 took place on 20 January and went to the three groups of early testers. It was a wee bit later than we expected, but laden with new features and numerous bug fixes.

The hallmark of this build is in the arena of Computer Aided Coding and specifically the feature which enables pop-up help to be included in code completion for classes and functions. Preliminary content is available for SystemDOM, SystemDOMHTML and most of SystemUtilities. Believe me, you will like it.

Of course there are other new features such as support for modal form (which some of you have been asking for), a new and more versatile PDF library, the ability to choose between long and short URIs, and much more.
